to grar or not to grar.... that is the question....

Right.

i have an srad with a k1 1000 motor and streatched arm taking the old girl to 63-64inc wheel base

i dont get to the track much! but im going this weekend (weather permitting!)

currently running -2+1 gearing. last time i managed 3 runs with a 60ft of 1.6sec, not good i know but hear me out....

first time ive ever run a long arm and was shocked with the drive i could get without the normall wheelie that i love!! so much so i was spinning up (even though they glue the track!) i dropped the pressure 36psi to 25psi for the second run and again ans was still spinning!
for the 3rd i dropped it to 16psi (dont know if this is normal as its low as phuck!) anyways it didnt spin but i did bog down must have seriously cost me about half a second! (best of the day was a 1.6 60ft finishing 10.6346s @130.92mph )

been getting some fun in from the lights and spinning into about 3rd gear at road pressure (36psi) so confident with the way the bike kicks about with this gearig but im more worried about the track!

my question is, should i go from 43t to 46t on the rear to counter the bogging down or just slip the clutch a little more. if i put the larger rear sprocket in ill also loose a little wheel base as it will pull forward to fit the chain round it!

opinions are welcome

16 45/46 gearing launch at 55-6500, what is your weight? You need to use all six gears. Yes my friend srad with k5 1000 motor at 64" we ran 12 psi in michelin power rear. Head and cam bike. 8.9s. 8.4s 50 shot. He is 170 suited up. The gearing on his on motor is 15/46 but the trans are different from 01 and 05.
