Basically i have upgraded my standard rear light and put in a intergrated led rear light. I havent wired anything up yet as i dont really know how to go by it as my old rear light has 6 wires so im guessing it was 3 for the brake light and 3 for just the rear light but the new led has a plug with just 3 wires going into it ill post a couple of pics up and hopefully someone can tell me how to wire it up haha! thank you
That is the same plug as stock, the 6 wires are 3 for each bulb that then join together to become 3. If you dont have that plug then its been cut off, trace it back and you will find the 6 wires will join the main loom.
Could I get a female part of the plug and then connect the same wires together from the stock or would that not work ? Sorry about this I haven't got a clue
follow the harness to to the trunk you should find the plug you need to just unplug it and plug in your new led lights. you will want to get the digital signal relay to make the signals flash at the correct rate for mot.
Also I have bought resistors for the indicators so they don't flash fast but do you know a relay that would it the srad I've tried getting one before but they have too many pins ?
