That's crazy, very nice find. The rattlesnake didn't even feel threatened by the cottonmouth. It still wasn't completely dead as it was being eaten. I wonder if the rattlesnake had a chance to get off one strike. Who's venom would prove to be the deadliest?

Either snake's venom would be sufficient enough to paralyze and kill the other snake.

I have a red tail boa and jesus that cottenmouth swallowed that rattler quick as hell. Mine does not go that fast at all!

Biggest one I've ever seen personally was about 4 1/2 foot and was as thick as my thigh I thought it was a log at first

The rattlesnakes do get big around here too with all the wildlife management areas we have. This one was killed about 50 miles from my house just this weekend by a boy I went to high school with

Biggest rattler I've seen was a six and a half foot long Eastern Diamondback. It was in the Pocono Mountains in PA near a stream. It was ginormous.
