Thanks bro,, the unit doesn't touch the helmet.
The mount is a pinch style and I haven't noticed any scratches before.
I had a G4 on my Arai Jolly Roger and when I turned
That helmet into my race helmet I didn't notice any scratches. I'll take a picture
So you can see.

I took a close up of the mount,, it has a foam/rubber piece that touches the helmet,, No scratches.. Here is a pic of the Jolly Roger,, I can't see any scratches where it was mounted.
If you buy one, you'll like it. It's pretty awesome.
