Then they look bad. We have limits on how long certain projects should take. I just do it on my own.

Your point has completely gone over my head. Also depends on what you consider dropping out. Technically until you get a doctorate there is still more schooling you could pursue... So only people with the title doctor have taken their final final. Technically
