750 slingshot dog leg length

What an end to a crappy year.
Was walking down the stairs the other day when I suddenly found myself laying at the bottom with a broken hip.........I wouldn't try it, just not as much fun as you think its going to be.
Doc recons there was no way the fall alone could have done it so we put it down to a bad crash I had a few years ago coming back to haunt me.......
So laid up for a couple of months, with no way to do anything the the garage...

I've searched and searched for the following info but cant seem to find it anywhere, I need the std length for a 92 750 slingshot dog leg, well the hole centres. I planned on drilling some strips of ply of various lengths until the arm looked to be at the right(ish) angle and check that everything cleared the brace etc but that went out of the window last tuesday night.

Fitting 750 SRAD arm into 92 slingshot frame using slingshot suspension linkage and rose jointed adjustable dog legs (will have about 5-10 mm of adjustment in both directions). Spacers already fitted just need the dog legs.

Anybody know the length please.

I have a set off my 1100 which measure about 189mm between the centres. I've checked a few part numbers and the dog bones seem to be the same from the 89 1000, 90 750 and 92 750.

Lust racing gave me the length of there jack up kit which was 182, to much of a rise for me, will have them made with 185 as mid point of adjustment giving me about 20mm in either direction although to be honest I'm not to keen on messing with the standard geometry as firm believer that a engineer in Japan with access to million pounds worth of development software knows a little more about frame design than a man in his shed with a grinder.

Time to get on sketchup and get these things drawn.

I've tried the lust racing jack up kit on my 89 1100. I agree that it's too much of a rise. I'll be reverting back to the stock dog bones soon. I'll add a shock with ride height adjuster, or swap the top shock mount for an adjustable one instead.

I had a set on an exup, came fitted to the bike, the back end was so high I found myself putting far to much weight on the bars, especially during brake/turn in where the input should be one of turning the bike not trying to stop yourself going over the bars. I put a zx10 shock on her and as it was shorter it dropped the back end down near standard ride height, completely transformed the handling.
Only fitting adjustable for the mechanical look, once on I doubt I'll feel the need to touch them again

The rose joints (from company that supplies rod ends for race cars) and bar only £60, so depending on cost of machining shouldn't be much more than cost of most off the shelf jack up kits, and I'll have enough 17mm hex bar left over for several sets so may be able to recoup my costs by flogging a few through ebay.
