I have a 600cc 05 with micron serpent full exhaust and 750 throttle bodies.
I want to install Oem cams from 750 or 1000.
Which would you recommend?

Good luck ilio_gsxr. I haven't been able to get much in the way of help either on the subject.

Try this link. Some of the guys talk about cams and setups. You might find something of use. Can't seem to get much info about indexing the cams though.

hey, i know it's been a while but what kind of performance gains will this give the 600? will i be able to rip 1000's in the corners and then burn em on the straights too?! lol (joke) but seriously, how much will that help? i'm debating whether to get a newer 750 or do some work on my k4 600.

I will let u know in the next few weeks when I get my cams installed. I'm gonna advance the cam timing for a bit more bottom end torque.

I have no idea how much power, will increase.Finally iv got the cams.Oem from k4 1000 with ape sprockets.After few weeks i will install them and the duno will show

Yeah man that sounds cool full set of 1000 cams should def pick up top end. let us know how it does and what you degreed the cams at.

Finally installed the cams and this is result..throw fire

..I have not driven it at this time.I will buy a pc3 and will make setup on dyno.
Cams are from k4 1000 with ape cam sprockets.

Damn that sh*t is spitting out the flames, so you installed both in/ex 04 1000 cams? No test ride yet?

Nice, I haven't got around to getting my cams installed yet, but hopefully soon. Did you have any clearance issues with your piston to valve measurements? What do you have your cams degreed to?

Not yet, been busy riding. I will work on it in the next few weeks now that I got some down time.

Piston to valve clearance was too tight, didn't want to risk banging pistons and valves.
