Sharkskinz is almost a thousand, way.... too much. armor bodies is about $700, still expensive, my friend already told me not to use hot bodies, so I did some research, the one that's close to my budget is "piteck", "motofairing" and "optimal", any one have their fairing before?
Buy used? I got a set of sharkskinz for $400 shipped, not a bad deal for race glass in nearly perfect condition, with a lot of HP making stickers already slapped on it.

You get what you pay for . If your going racing you may need to budget more money for this endeavor .

i agree. buying cheap fairings will cost more in the long run. crash a set, they might be too brittle to take it, and then you are out the cost of the fairings. if you are concerned about budget for fairings, i would hate to see your tire and maintenance budget.

I have not used any of the newer stuff but I understand that the newer HB stuff is much better. In addition, the owner seems to have good customer service and seems to go out of his way on the WERA board to make things right.
Another option would be a set from Attack which I believe is the old AK Composites which were very good.
