Took a final exam last night. Law class. Went better than I was expecting. One of the questions was, "What is a tort?" One of the answers was, "A pastry which always has a fruit filling but never a cream filling." It was temping to mark that just for giggles. The instructor was outstanding all semester. The kind of guy who should be a politician.
Seriously thinking about getting back into it for a law degree. Might be fun. MBA would be more useful, though. Regardless, I'll sit out for a semester, at least, before jumping back in, IF I decide to do it. Best of all worlds would be to go get the MBA and then go to law school.
Another final exam on Thursday for Finance. Wish me luck. Shouldn't be too problematic, actually. The instructor is retiring and I'm convinced he wants it to be over as much as anyone!

+3 to bleah, it's an irritating time for most atheists and/or history buffs. I can't imagine it's much better for Jewish or Muslim families.
Now, the Winter Solstice Festival? Now THERE is something I can get behind! I love winter and hate to see it leave, but at least for the rest of the season there's more and more sunlight for skiing!

We actually decided to say fuck it and go the extra mile to get high quality, durable leather couches. We have dogs, so it needed to be the good, strong leather not that shit that feels ultra soft.
Everybody that's ever come over since we got them LOVES them. Out of 5 seats ( 3-seat couch, and 2-seat love seat ), 4 of them recline. They are fucking amazing. I get sleepy when I recline on those things, they're almost too comfortable.

My parents got the toughest leather they could too(cuz theyre crazy cheap and dont want to buy another one lol) but I do gotta say. The leather recliner my dad got is Best chair ever. But he breaks out the if anyone else sits there

No. They aren't allowed near it. They get excited and come close when guests arrive but otherwise they stay away. They aren't allowed on any furniture.
