Good idea

Hey guys I currently ride an 07 r6. I've been saving some money to buy a gsxr for many reasons. A Guy I know has an 05 gsxr 750 w/ 24k miles. He just had new tires put on this week. It has a yoshi exhaust. He's asking $3500. Is this a good deal? Is the 05 750 a good bike? Id appreciate any advice you guys have on your bikes.

05 750 is a good bike, maybe you can get a better deal or talk him down a bit - i'm figuring it's a winter in your neck of woods, isn't it? never ridden an 06+ r6, but all the reviews say it's good trackbike, not too good of a streetbike, but it has the looks.
anyway, ask that guy about maintenance.

That's a decent price assuming everything is squared away. Past proper maintenance as mentioned is key.

My clean '99 with 24k was $2,000, just for reference. Guy was asking 3,000, but Mrs. Trout is a savvy woman.
