Quit smoking!

What a milestone here for me, 2 years ago i quit smoking lock stock and barrel!

It has been difficult every now and then but well worth it the challenge!
Any one trying to do this, all you need is the want to do it for YOURSELF!

Awesome dude, well done, I quit a pack a day habbit 12 years ago. Feels great to wake up in the morning & not smell like an ashtray dosent it? Any side effects after quiting?? Weight gain, withdrawals etc? For me it was gaining a few pounds.

I quit cold turkey 3 years ago. I just woke up one day and told myself "I don't want to do this anymore". It was rough the first couple of months. Now I can't believe I ever smoked to begin with.

I started doing the math. Smoking a pack a day. Which is what I was smoking when I quit. Costing $6 per pack. Then figure 7 packs a week. That comes out to $42. No biggie, till you multiply that by 4 and then by 12. I saved myself over $2,000 per year. Just by quiting a filthy habit that was killing me.

Sane with me. I say ill quit, then light one up about an hour later. Once I move to Florida ill quit tho, no way I'm spending 7 bucks a pack.

wow man that's awesome congratulations. I quit drinking about five years ago, exactly 5 on December 16, but I haven't been able to put down the cigarets.

Congrats on quitting. I quit about 3 years ago wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done, being smoke free is awesome though I cannot stand the smell now I don't know how I ever walked around smelling like that.

I quit almost 10 years ago.

The last 'attempt' at quitting, I merely said I was done with it... the next day I would hang out with my smoking friends at work and it wouldn't phase me. I was proving to myself that I could go on without it and not have to change anything. So I did.

Now, to be fair... I had tried to quit a few times prior to that, but I was trying to quit when I wasn't really ready. When I was ready, it was simple.

FWIW...one of our guys "in-laws" have tried to quit a ka-zillion times... from patches, to powders, to hypnosis... everything... hard saying how much $$ they've spent...they just don't Want To bad enuff it seems.

Congrats. I am quitting or been trying to for awhile. Been on "advanced" e-cigs for a couple months now and they work pretty good.

I have friends that cant believe that i can still drink and not want a butt!

I really thought i wound need a crutch, such a the patch or the gums, but i was able to just want it!
