I can't find anything about that in the manual all it has is the cable and the release mechanism. It says to pop a cover off the front sprocket cover and adjust the screw that's under it.

That's the 3rd adjustment, newer bikes have what Joe said.
Kevin, thank you for posting this question. I'd likely have found out the hard way about cold clutches one chilly morning. With my luck, I would have smeared my slick orange paint all over the side of our nice silver minivan.
You very likely have saved me from having to watch as my lovely wife collapses, paralyzed by laughter at my expense, in the front yard. If you find yourself in Kyrgyzstan in the next few weeks, send me a message and I'll buy you a beer.
Most bikes the pressure plate adjuster is on the right inside a plug in the clutch cover. Yours is on the left over the sprocket cover. Same principle though
Did you fix the r/r yet? If so take it for a ride and see if anything's out of the ordinary. If you're really that concerned, pull the plates and inspect both steel and fibers. Check if the basket is scored, proper torque on springs etc. If nothing jumps out at you, soak your fibers in oil overnight before reassembling.
