WOW.....where did 2012 go. The bike show has been lame for years. I go
just to see my riding/track buddies. If I go it will be fri afternoon. Who is going and what day.

We hit Foley's last year after the show. Small time Irish pub but, its a good 15-20 minute walk from The Javits Center. It's on 33rd off of 5th right below The Empire State Building.
It's usually COLD as hell when they have the bike show. You guys are troopers to walk ALL the way across town, fight thru the crowds, pass right
by RICK'S and all the other Irish pubs to land at Foley's. Those are some long
ass blocks too. There has got to be some nice Irish bars closer in the area. Def a ton of them around MSG. Did I mention its free to get in RICK's in the afternoon!!!

Friday might be tough..maybe I can get out 1/2 day and get down to Pt. Imperial.
Last year I went and for a mild winter that was the coldest damn day of the year. They actually had buses running from the port to the the front door which was a plus.
I remember guys on the trials bikes had this MC that was f'ing horrible. He was moonwalking around and asking bike questions then giving out prizes. He came to this thug looking guy and asked "can you tell me what it's called when the front wheel comes off the ground and motorcycle is ridden on the back wheel?"
The guy, totally not amused at this guy's dumbass looked at him and goes "n*gga that's a endo."
That may have been the best Motorcycle Show moment in history.
Every year I go to this event. Perfect place to be to buy for you and your bike, and also to see whats new that year coming out. If anyone here in Mass/RI area is going and want to link up, My girl and I will do so.
how big are the discounts? is it worth going just to grab discounted gear?
They're decent, last year at Chicago's I almost bought a Bell helmet for 50 bucks off what they were going for everywhere eelse, and Shorai batteries were about 10 percent off.

99% sure I'm going on Sat, that Mon is my bday so a few people hit me today and asked what I was doing for my bday so I'm sure I'm going and will meet up or show up with cool people.
I'm holding off on buying my suit from SBTG in hopes I can find something there...I don't "need" one but that Bell Revolver is kicking my ass too!
