save yourself the money and just put one of those mufflers with that piece of metal jammed into them that make it sound like a turbo is spooling. All of hte ricers around here have them
Fuck that.......get the Tailgunner one, that's what all the REAL cool kids run,
Should be fun! I would have gone with an RCC setup but as long as you're happy, that's all that matters...
Yes I agree with you 100%,Richard makes a great kit..Reason I went with this Velocity was that I got it brand new from Jason for $2800 shipped which is a deal I could not pass up.
I know you're on the other forums & know all the heavy hitters: the engine going into this bike came from Sean Walsh's PST Busa that Anthony Navarro built..I tried to get the NLR kit that was on that bike as well but Seb said its designed to be run in the 35-40psi range and thats just too much for street riding even with boost turned down.
After 3 years eh? You finally decide to pop your cherry
I've been here for many years and several screen names. Between deployments and time away out of country, emails changing, etc. I guess I never posted with the new profile..

Oh,and welcome to GDC
Sounds good, as long as you're happy! I like the NLR kits, Seb makes some wild stuff. I can't even imagine 35-40psi on the street...
Man that looks amazing. Oldg I was thinking of having carpenter put a turbo on the stroker. I assume I would have to revert back to low comp stroker pistons. Maybe 2mm oversize valves?

What do you think?

Stock bore&stock stroke on a turbo or you will have issues. Oversize bore is not needed. A stroker with a turbo is a recipe for instant disaster. No need for bigger valves unless you are going all out, even then its a race-only application. Im in no position to hand out advice about a turbo build as I am still learning everyday but strokers on a N/A engine are iffy as a daily rider as is;add boost and your crank/rod bearings will not be happy.
Winter project my barely there 52 year old ass, official first day of winter is on the 21st. Your sick ass Busa will be up and running before winter even starts for Christ sake...LoL.
