Re: New to me - Bought Sight Unseen
Ebay. I thought it was a good deal. Under 2000 miles. Has flatslides on it, but the stock carbs come with it. Was surprised it wasn't brought up on this forum. The seller was very unresponsive to questions so I watched it go unsold twice until he gave me answers to my questions.

Yeah, no bueno, but I've got a freshly rebuilt Ohlins for it sitting on my parts shelf next to a new old stock Kerker 4 into 1.

Re: New to me - Bought Sight Unseen
Thanks for the positive comments folks.
Got my fingers crossed. Trying to see if I can get someone to inspect the bike before I ship it. The initial response from shippers has it getting to me around Christmas time.

Re: New to me - Bought Sight Unseen
Bike arrived last week.
Began working on it today. Hasn't run since ~2007 or so. Battery overflow tube wasn't connected, so while the oil and gas tank were draining, I pulled the battery box and refurbished it.

Re: New to me - Bought Sight Unseen
Thanks guys. I'm really fortunate to have my workshop, especially since it was below 20F today. Got my fingers crossed. Oil was pretty dirty. Hopefully it didn't have enough acid in it to do any damage to the cylinder walls...
