What tools are needed for all maintenance on 07 gsxr600

I received no manual with my 07 Gixxer 600 and was wondering what tools I will need for maintenance because I plan on doing everything nyself?

You can download the service manual for free at www.servicesmanualsgsxr.com.

I have not found a link to download an owners manual and just bought one at the dealer (less then $15). It does have some useful information that is not in the service manual or hard to find.

Pretty much a basic set of metric tools are all you need. A voltmeter can be handy.

Metric Allen Keys ranging 3mm-10mm or more
Metric socket set from 6mm-22mm and an extra socket for your axle nut
Metric Wrench set 6mm-22mm
Needle nose pliers bend and straight
Side cutter
Adjustable plumber wrench to get the oilf filter off
Dead blow hammer
Heavy duty grease
Blue Lock tight
Phillips Screw driver
Flat Head screw driver

All just estimates out of my head what I just used to strip my bike naked (platics, Tank, Oil Change) for winterizing.

Call me crazy, but I've got a stainless steel ruler that I've used the crap out of for my dirtbikes- everything from chain tension to half-ass sparkplug gapping to checking for warping or items otherwise out of true. Not expensive, takes up no space, but surprisingly handy every now and then. I'll be getting one for use on my gixxer when I come home.

Doubles as a light-duty gunk scraper in a pinch. Peel any kind of anti-slip backing off the back before you use it on something hot, like some dumbass kid I once was did. Burning simu-cork and rubber cement stinks.
