i was wondering if you were ever going to finish that.

I'm gonna try to make it useful for planning next season. I will get dates from all the orgs and race series in there.

Question,I want to upgrade my forks and so I'm looking at the 20mm kit for the r6,is this upgrade worth doing? How much better is the 20mm kit over stock?

It is as much better as it is cost wise relative to a 25mm or 30mm kit.

That's not a smart ass answer either. Suspension very much so is a get what you pay for thing. I went pretty damn fast on 20mm stuff. Equivalent:36s at vir (but at barber) on 20mm go suspension front and penske double rear. But I was really starting to feel it hold me back confidence wise.

1:46 on Thunderbolt? Your money would be better spent on track time. Don't get caught up with what everyone else is doing. There's most definitely at least another 10 seconds in your bike the way it sits (stock), probably even 15 second with a good (non-pro) rider.

If it's not broke, don't fix it.

For confidence, I just assume my aftermarket suspension can handle what the pros are doing in terms of laptimes. I've only cashed on cold tires, and a couple other stupid things that were terrible mistakes on my own part.

Yea if you have what they do.

A 20mm kit and double click shock is not what they have lol.

I don't agree with n00bs buying full race stuff wither though a lot of times. Going to a full ttx and 30mm kit or gas forks or some shit is not always best. The high end shit will hide a lot of rider mistakes... that the rider will then keep making and end up just crashing at a higher velocity and in more spectacular fashion lol.

There is something yo be said about learning on lesser stuff until it really starts holding the rider back.

A 20mm kit is better than stock but not so good as to do what I just said...IMO.

I'm pretty sure I'm going faster then that now,I just haven't had a lap timer during the last couple of track days.I will be doing a ton of track days and a couple of schools next season so I'm pretty sure I will get faster. Why wait until I start feeling the stock suspension's shortcomings before changing anything?

Traxxion says their AK-20 cartridges perform as well as the Ohlins 25mm cartridges.

And I got a triple, not a double. Not like it matters
