I was worried when I was eyeing up everything but fit no problems. Guess GPS is taller than the Scott's.

I rode 35 minutes to work the other day.(14 degrees) I had to keep the hot grips on low. I just love them. I wear a windproof undershirt and a good jacket. Snowmobile gloves

Aside from the paint job what's different about the XRO tank from a OEM tank? Shape looks the same, is it aluminum?

Yes.. It's one he had one here at one time, wanted 400 for it, certainly not what I paid.

I've never seen that before and it is very different...that's why I like it, look forward to your finished project Chris
I finally managed to take that stubborn bolt off, the oil line one that was seeping oil, with a tool I picked up from the NEC motorcycle show.
Did the job very well!
Hopefully that's the end of the leaking oil.
Tomorrow I hope to clean the MJN carbs...it's the pilot circuit i'll be concentrating on, as the issue is at part throttle.
I might also have a go at resolving my leaking FP carbs....will also be ordering some tapered steering head bearings from Daz.
