k3 600 usd fork conversion

Alrite people, bit of an urgent one, got some k2 1000 usd forks im watching, they end in two hours and are going for a song, planning on chucking them in to my k3 600. Has anyone done this before? I know ill probably need yolks to suit, but is there any other nastey supprises i should know about? Should i go for a different model fork for ease and compatabillity?

You'll need the top and bottom yokes as well ??? Then it'll be plug and play i believe.

I'm just about to do this to my gixxer . Got K1 1000 forks coming next week just out for the yokes now. Will need the clip-ons aswell I'm guessin?
How far should u set the forks above the top yoke? Do I go with 600 or 1000 settings? Cause I don't think there's much difference in them, or do I need somethink totally different.
