The only ones that are really watching, you know, we are all on here, post all the time. There is no one that hides in the shadows and does things that no one sees. It's the Mods and Admins that take care of the show.

I love my Michelin Pilot Pures. When they come out with much-better tires and bikes I will switch to those eventually. I won't be one of those Luddites riding a 2009 GSX-R in 2030, I'll tell you that. I'll ride the best they have to offer within my budget.
I don't need a 2009 GSX-R 750. I could probably get by with a moped but I'm not looking just to get by.
Speaking of what one needs, I bet most people who only do light web/email don't need the overly-powerful computer they have—but there are a bunch of other benefits to modern-technology.

I learned a ton from this thread; I'll be just fine with the average tires MotoMummy has such a great price on when the time finally comes.
I also am hopeful that my own dirtbiking will go a ways towards keeping my jimmies clean and unrustled when the rear end steps out. I didn't stop riding when the winter snows came, even when the ancient Enduro 400 was the only bike that would start (it's spot was closest to the wood stove in the garage). Nothing compares to the feeling of a fat-ass two stroke absolutely losing it's mind on a newly plowed driveway!

Yeah man, those PR3 tyres I have are as slippery as...just like budget, for the masses, car tyres...
Now, would you ride on a set of hypersport tyres in the middle of a wet, freezing cold, grit covered winter road here in NZ? I wouldn't like to...the PR3's deal nicely with it though
