I had a quick question just to see out of interest. What percentage did you guys end up using with -1 +2 set up on a 180/55/17 I used 15.4 haven't tested it yet won't be able to till Tuesday curious if ny of you used a similar number or what you are using and how accurate it is?
i use -18.2% on my 750 with a -1/+2 setup that takes my final drive to 2.938. your 600 went from a 2.688 to a 3.000. none of those numbers really mean shit for YOUR speedo. either borrow a gps and ride at 60 mph for a minute, while monitoring the indicated speed on the gps, or drive a measured distance and time it to find your feet/second and convert it. throwing out a thread like this on the internet is not going to accurately get your correction.
Yea I guess I need to go get a GPS. I was just curious if all these bikes were the same but I am guessing not I think my current percentage should get me close but I will find out next week. Thanks guys
Just use the calculator we have and it will get you very close. As close as your bike is stock. It's off a bit even then, but it's not enough to where I would worry about it.

There are a bunch of free speedometer apps for smartphones, etc. I just duct taped my phone to the gas tank and went riding. Sure enough 65 mph on the speedo was 60 on the phone/gps. Close enough to 10% for me.
The other guys are right you that you have to check your own bike to get a good correction. Add different tire brands and models to the gearing variables.
