You probably got the set you have for free...and nice bike, btw. Love the white with a hint of blue. Since I didn't win Powerball, I'm gonna have to save for a bike like yours.
Ed
No I didn't I got em for $110. If your referring to my bike there isn't any blue on it.
Used checkered flag, redline, vortex, LP, dmp stands. Have one set of just about everything and never had one issue with any of them. It's basically just bent metal and no need to over think it. As i've always said, half the people who make such a huge deal about putting their 12k bike on hundreds of dollars worth of stands will put their 30k+ car on 20 dollar auto value jack stands LOL.
Under the impression the pictured bike was yours and that the second color was a dark blue. I'm thinking bout getting a set. They look sturdy.
the picture motod put up was a picture of my bike. me and him exchanged several email back and forth and it was one i had sent him. the paint on the bike is white and grey and i have added a few white bits here and there.
plus one on being sturdy my wife has backed into my bike while it was on the stands getting a bath she stopped when she felt the initial bump it rocked the bike a little but it didn't go over . i really like mine, alot more than the psr's i had bought originally.

So you should be getting some sort of funds for advertisement because your bike looks awesome sitting on them.
Repeat customers can get kickbacks/benefits for being loyal and that's what's going on in my mind...hmmm.
Anyway, my wife called me one time because she hit the side mirror of her car on the garage door and wanted to know how to get out of the situation. I told her to drive forward and turn the wheel to get more room. She thanked me for getting her out of that situation.
I can't imagine what would of happened if she hit my parked bike.
Back to the stands...I'm definitely leaning towards a purchase. We'll see.

i was i just knew she had just knocked it over i was walking out of the house when i seen it. run over to check on the bike then it was all (no not really but i wanted too)

I am yet to run across a set of stands that wasn't sturdy. They are all sturdy. I have put my bike up on the Pit Bulls and give BP "seminars" several times (hanging off each side of the bike).
I think the Pit Bull's are the "sturdiest", but you would be hard pressed to get a bike to fall off of any stand under normal circumstances.
I like the Pit Bulls because they are their own design, made in the USA and they heavily support racing/riders all over the US.
...not to mention their quality and customer service is second to none.

The Econo set I had were my first experience with bike stands. Now, I know better. I had to make sure the front stand was balanced correctly otherwise I would have done some damage to the forks.
