Me and other riders always talk about it, but never really have a written record, but heres an attempt to do that. I live on the windward side, so I can't comment on the rest of the isle.
=Likelike tunnels=
Never would've guessed it, till I got tagged there. It's a straight shot from one end to the other.
=H-3 East bound "Hospital Rock Tunnels"=
It's the pair of small tunnels on the windward side of the H-3. They hang out a good 200ft before them where the road bends.
=Likelike South bound right before Kalihi Elementary School=
There's a little grass patch at the end of the guard rail, the size of a patrol car.
=Kam Hwy going southbound by H-3 overpass after Mermorial Cemetary=
They like to sit under the underpass and get you coming over the hill.
=Pali Hwy southbound AFTER the 180 turn=
There's a little area, about 30 square ft on the right, right at the end of the turn. They usually nap there, or just wait to get people going only 5 mph over.
=Kam hwy in front of HPU=
A solo biker hangs out there by the bus stop.
=Kahuhipa St Kaneohe=
Same as above, I think it's the same guy too.
=H-3 West bound by the footbridge in front of Aiea High school=
A car will nestle it's way so that he's blocked by the foot bridge from the rear. You woun't see him till you pass him. And even then only if you have mirrors or crane your head 180 degrees.
