For 15 years I just left the shit in the garage all winter. More recently I started covering it. It wasn't until I bought the racebike that I started storing the streetbikes on stands. It was more about gaining some room with them standing up instead of leaned over on the kickstand than anything else.

good to know, thanks. was mainly curious if taking the stress/ pressure off the forks would benefit them at all or not. Guess not. LOL

Front or rear?

My truck did that once when they put new pads on. Caliper slider stuck. It was on the front and when I hit the brakes truck would pull HARD to one side.

My street bike is in my one garage on its kickstand, the track bike is on the lift in my other garage.

So I think my helmet is too big. I just went out on the bike to get bits for my dremel, and I was just in a sweatshirt, and I got into a tuck and tried to pick up my head, but the back of my helmet hit the top of my back and lifted up.
