05 gsxr 600 no turn signals??

I rebuilt an 05 gsxr 600 and its all together no issues until i noticed that the turn signals weren't working. They work when the key is passed the bar lock in the parking light mode, but when the bike is on and running, they dont work...??? any clue what could be causing this????

which switch? they work with the key in "parking lights" you can do left right or hazard. just wont work when in "on"

They shouldn't work with the key in parking light mode. Your wiring is screwed up.

why wouldn't they. I have an 04 gsxr 1000 also and it works in parking light mode as well. So does my buddies 06 gsxr 600. Just not understanding what would cause it not to work in the ON position?? Gauges work, headlights work, brake lights work....just no turn signals

Stale post, but were talking about the parking position for the key. Nothing but the rear light is powered according to the wiring diagram.

Like the geek said the only light that should be powered is the tail light. Even if you have integrated only the tail light should be on. Sounds like wires crossed

Bloody annoying though when you search out a thread like this and the OP finds the answer but doesnt bother posting to let others know

I just bought a k5 and one of the signal lamps doesnt work, havent looked into it yet but hoping its just the lamp.
