hi
has anyone fitted i full set of led indicators ?
do you have to change the relay for a lower wattage one so that you get the correct flash rate?
ive had alook on the net for replacement relays but they all seem to be 3 or 2 pin conection were the oem relay on the srad has 5 pins ?
can anyone shine any light?
cheers dave
hi thanks for the input everyone
i would let them flash faster also but over here in the uk we have to have an m o t test (ministery of transport test) done every year if it fails its not allowed on the road, back to the subject your indicators have to flash at a given rate (i think its 180 flashes a minute) if they dont then it fails the mot.
i will have a look into cutting the 2 wires from the oem relay ,as anyone done this that can give me directions?
cheers all.

Re: led indicator
I have heard that if you leave the o.e.m one connected but hidden and then connect the l.e.d ones, they will flash normally..........have'nt tried it though.
Used resistors on mine but they still flash fast ........temperamental really......i think i have cheap resistors
the leaving one of the oem indicators on aswell dosent work armi i tried it with no joy,
gsxr-freak if you have the details of which wire go were that would be cool.
thanks dave

Are you not supposed to leave them all on???
In all honesty a member on another site suggested this to me.....if you're saying it does'nt work then, then it does'nt work....just wanted to be sure if you left ALL 4 of them on......prolly not the way to go about it anyway......cheers.
Hi Guy's
I fitted LED's to my Srad, took loads of time to fit the resistors ect,
but the front's still flashed to fast, the rear's was ok,
in the end just unplugged the relay plugged in new relay & no probs,
got mine off ebay I think mine came from Germany & was about £27..........
everyone for your help sorted it now a mate gave me 2 resistors so i wired them into the front for the rears i just wired the 2 old mini indicators back in taped the lenses up with black tape and tucked them away inside the tail unit RESULT!
working indicators

Mounting aftermaker front indicators on a gsxr k7, im currently pimping out my gix with a few new trimmings and was wondering if many of you guys had gone away from the intergrated mirrors and mounted aftermaket ones on the fairings, just interested to see some pics and ideas of where to mount them.
I'm looking at buying these: (I know is a tad bit whorish being honda style and all, but i like them)
Sorry, should I have started a new one? Forums have always confused me. Sometimes you start new threads and people complain and tell you that there is already an existing one. Can't win bro, sorry.

I bought a plug and play LED relay at the beginning of the summer, it has a 3 pin plug and the stock harness plug is 2 pin, I just had to plug it in on the right side and it works perfectly
best thing about it is its pretty much the same size as the stocker so I was a blt to use the rubber mount and hang it in the same spot,, perfect flash rate connection and mount
I know you're going to ask where I got it, it was online so hopefully I can look through the boxes and receipts and find it, could have been bikebandit or denniskirk?
if I remember right it was called a universal 3 prong or whatever, I totally took a chance at it even working as it was a 3 pin but I think they said it worked for the gixxer so I went for it..
it looks just like this one cept I think? mine has 3 wires, but it looks the same as it has that tab coming off it with the hole in it, plugged right into the stock rubber mount, I never bothered to shave the tab off.. lol
