Ape cct issue

I bought the ape cct for my bike. Went to install it last night but the bolts won't tighten flush to the flange of the APE. I took it out and noticed that the stock flange cct is quite a bit thicker. I am just going to use a couple washers and a lock washer to make it work. Anyone else notice this issue?

Yes...use shorter bolts or spacers (washers or nuts)

You have a 99/00 bike? They updated the CCT and used a longer bolt then on the early SRADs.

Thanks guys. I do have a 2000. I just cut the bolts and it worked out just fine.
