I still ride the 40 minute commute. 24 degrees the other morning. I did add hot grips which are toasty.

Re: This thread is ONLY for SRAD bike photo's
I took the tank off the SRAD today, ready for re-painting.
It was painted around this time last year when I bought the bike and on just one side, he didnt do a great job of the SUZUKI graphic, see the haphazard lettering? Anyway, its going back to him to be corrected/re-painted.
Then I cleaned up the engine block, popped the brakes out, cleaned pads, caliper pins, R clips etc etc.
Next time we have a nice day like this ill strip the calipers and rebuild it all, the 6 pots are only half way decent if they are working 100%.

Your not too far off mate!
To be fair, it has seen plenty of use this year, certainly more miles than its done in the last 12 years all together.
The tank cost me £125, I think i was unlucky as it was only the one graphic he didnt do so well....and when I took it down there, he put his hands up and said, he'd re-do it , no problem.
This is his website, he's quite well known in the industry

Gunk degreaser, worked in with a selection of fine bristle brushes and tooth brushes..Works a treat on the rest of the bike and even the rad as well, getting rid of all those dead fly's etc..
A spray with Duck oil or similar afterwards leaves it well protected in the garage over Winter.
