Why do people buy sport bikes and then try to turn them into cruisers by adding clip on risers and lowering foot pegs and crap

so many better options out there that you can go just as fast on and still look cool if that's what you are into

Thoughts on Dodge ram hemi? On paper its a better truck than the 05 silverado 5.3L that i'm interested in. more hp and the same mpg. I'm finding several in my price range.

Specifically these two. Dont care much for the body style but I'd probably get a leveler kit and larger tires. They look better with a small lift.

I really like the mods and sounds in the first one

Correct me if Im wrong.. But dont manufacturers do that same thing. Like Kawis 650? People may do it because they bought a sport bike but then had something happen where they couldnt physically ride it comfortably anymore. I know Id look into making it more suitable instead of buying a new bike if I was in that situation
