exactly, after pulling with our F150 - the chevy drives like a boat & I hate it.
Plus, I'm constantly in the motor when hauling else its going backwards.
Others might like it indeed ... but I guess I'm spoiled after the F150 & the baby Peterbuilt.
I think the truck is good. Does everything I need it too. The 5.3 runs good. Mileages isn't great, but it is a truck. I averaged about 17.5 MPG on my last road trip. I've towed a few times, never had any problems or swaying. Never felt like I had to stay in the gas either.
I've also never pulled as much as you do Rick. I think it's a great truck, runs solid and it's comfortable.

I just called for an update on my truck and it is a total loss. They are offering me 15,100. This is with me not arguing or fighting with them for more cash. I'm wondering how much higher i can get them to go.
Which can easily pay off what i owe and almost leaves me enough to buy that truck that i posted about earlier.
which reminds me. I'm calling my credit union to see if i can put a hold on my payment that is due tomorrow. Then again if i pay it or not i'd still get that money back once my truck check comes in.

Be careful with doing that.... I did that when I wrecked my last bike. I knew it was being paid off in full so I stopped payment and the insurance company took an extra 2 weeks to actually send the payment and I was late on the payment. I had to cover the late charge.

Yeah thanks. I'm calling the finance company now to try and set something up with them. i'm not just going to not pay

Ill sale you mine for 26k.
I did a little road trip up to NY State on Friday (200mi) in the Suburban (5.3) to pick up the RC51 motor and I almost got 20mpg on the round trip.
Did a longer trip on Saturday (275mi) into PA and over the Poconos with the family and the beast only managed 17.8mpg. Not bad considering the hills and the wind that day.
