european camshafts vs u.s. camshafts question

hello folks new to the forum and bought a 92 gsxr 1100 blue and white a year ago. im building a 1216 motor adding dot head 38mm carbs. my question is the cams i got from the guy i bought the dot head from. the cams he said are the european camshafts? i compared the camshafts from the 92 1100 to the camshaft i got that are supposely european camshafts. the difference is is the the duration is more on the european cams and the lift looks to be the same. does anyone know if the european cams are more agressive than the u.s. models? thanks
