bleeding eyes....i would kill the painter...
did see an GSX-R 1100 advertised, and went to look at it.
The ad had no picture, but the price seemed good, and the seller was a nice guy.
On the phone i asked about the bodywork, he said - special paintjob yellow and orange...
i was afraid.
But i went to look at it, and as he opened the garage door i went
I was soooo sad for this bike, but then again...the price was OK, and i knew it was me to save it....so i took it home.
Here´s the pics:

Werner ... it's o.k. leave the painter in peace (it's not worth it )
Contact Circus Ringling Bros and ask them if you can do your rounds in the piste
You will sort it ... just enter Classic Superbike Competition

I just find it hard to imagine the type of person, that would go to a painter and say "I want THIS..."

There is a ton of hours put into that and maybe different color choices would have worked better. Shame to see such time and effort turn out ugly as hell!

well as it was the seller himself who commisioned the repaint in 1987 he said: the airbrusher was supposed to be a good one, and his wish was: something yellow and orange, and that came out, he paid a lot of money for it....
But the longer i look at it, the more i think: what a classic era bad taste

Take the black spots out of the yellow, all of the red, and take the orange off the tank and I think it would have looked better. Also a darker orange, not that orange sherbet color. That's just my opinion though

Yeah upon seeing that bike I threw up a little in my mouth... when i spit it out it kinda looked like that paint job... yea it does remind me of the 80's and it does look better than the Scarface bike that was posted a while ago
