Seriously OP, I saw it and thought it was a seriously well-done tat. I would use the word 'impressive'.

He had a photo of himself.

I have one on my calf. . The only argument for it is "the bike will look dated in X years". Yup. But it is a memory of a point in my life. I dont give a fuck.

Technically I didnt have a good enough photo of me to use, so I have a photo of Aaron Yates, which was modified to more match a similar photo of me but was not good enough to use for a tattoo on my 03 GSXR 600.

I planed at the time to also have one of one of my MX bikes, and one on a road race bike as well, and maybe one day one of my cruisers. Who knows.

The money for tattoos goes to racing now. I have not had ink since like 2005.
