Weird headlight question

My K2 750 headlights UK Spec are 2 H7's. That being single filament dipped on the left and raised main beam on the right.

I WANT H4's !!!

But, ignoring the wiring change which is easy with a relay and a bit of soldering. The question is the headlight unit itself.

Is the H7 headlight different to the H4 one other bthan the bulb that slots into it.. I mean the right-hand-side main beam i could adjust to be the same as the left (as it's pointed higher for the main beam) so that's easy. But when switching on the H4's from dipped to high beam would it actually raise the beam just by switching filaments ???

Ok to keep it simple..

Can i use H4's in a light unit that takes H7's ??? Are the light units the same ?? Other than the mounting/resepticle change, will it impact of light performance/efficiency.

Lights are lights, just adjust them properly, find a way to mount them and manipulate your wiring to accommodate.

So there's no sensible reason why i shouldn't just get the H4 HID's and the relays to convert mine to US spec instead of the single sided H7 setup
