Just got a sweet deal...had to gloat!
Just picked up a 88 750 for a bargain price of $350, clean clear title and all. Didn't have high expectations and was pretty stoked when it fired right and ran really well after a little coaxing. My wife says I have a problem....I just can't resist scooping these old girls up when they come around. Sorry but I had to gloat a little to some people that understand these beautiful machines! It definately needs love but thats the fun part. Cheers

Sweet! I hope to score an '82 GS750 this weekend for just under $500. I'll follow suit and post up just like you.
You're not madd...as your wife suggests...just passionate about these machines.

Thanks. The one on the left is a VTR1000. I have a couple TLR's, so I guess a weakness for V-twins also....or wait maybe its a weakness for bikes all together....

Some things are not understood by either sexes. If it makes you happy, that's what counts.

The way I looked at it was the head and wheels are worth the purchase price and the rest is free.
