Had a link that compared the engines as well, shall see if I can find it later.
Just about any form of racing is better than NASCAR.

Re: F1 vs nascar
Top speed for Nascar is wrong, cars have qualified at over 200. Also, if Daytona held more people, they would sell more tickets than they do

Number of left turns should have been included. NASCAR would have at least dominated something lol. There is just something about NASCAR that's got me hooked!

That should not even be a comparison
That's like comparing a fine European wine to a redneck whiskey they brewed in the shed behind their trailer.

Biased....yes, but the rest of the world would look at Home Depot that way.

Yes but there are many major sponsors in NASCAR, including Redbull at one point.

Every time I see Tom Cruise, he plays Maverick in all his parts. Crazy.

Re: F1 vs nascar
Car of tomorrow-still OHV and carb'd
National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing-car of tomorrow took the last little bit of "stock" out of the sport. It's time to rename the sport.
Rain is not a reason to stop a race, motorcyclists race in the rain, so should Nascar.
It is no longer about racing, its about sponsors. Its about money.
Feb 18 2001 was the beginning of the end, 2003 put it on it's final leg, 2007 that leg was kicked out from underneath it.

Re: F1 vs nascar
I miss the good old days of F1 where the turbo six cylinders were competing against the 12 cylinder cars.
