Will an 08 motor fit an 07 frame

I have a K7 750 and was wondering if a K8 750 motor will fit and what I would need to make it work.

I think it fits, but for sure, the ecu connections are different.

It will fit, they are identical motors but there are parts internally that are different. Teh 08 gsxr is the same as an 06 07 minus the subframe is different and fairings. You can transplant the 06-07 fairings on the 08 frame if you swap subframes and vice versa

I was wondering the same thing. I have an 08 gsxr but cracked my frame. I purchased an 07 frame from my friend and want to make sure everything will fit on it before I start the swapping process. Can you please just verify it will fit before I actually start. Thanks!

I fitted a K8 750 motor into my K6 750 chassis last winter - all you need from the K6 motor are the throttle body rubbers and temperature sender.

I am UK based I have a 750 K7. Chain snapped went thru the casings and smashed 1st conrod so replaced engine with an L10 2010 750 slotted straight in. Even using original (07) ECU with a PCM 5 engine better than original! Was told from 06 to 10 all interchangeable.

The Hayens Manual for Gixxer 600 & 750 goes from K6 to K9. Not sure about the later models but the motor should fit the frame.
