Just got BF3 Premium on PS3 for xmas. Used to be purely a COD guy, but this game blows COD out of the water. Love it, but it took some time to get used to it. VERY diff gameplay. Love it though.
I cant for the life of me learn how to properly guide any form of aircraft though. Tanks im ok at. On foot I do well, now. LOL.

the game does take some getting used to. i played both CoD and BF since it first came out and i did a lot of flying in BF. im not too bad as a pilot in planes but i am better with the heli's. i used to get a lot of assisted gunner kills because i would fly the blackhawk pretty low (building height) and maneuver around and let the gunners get the kills.
i have been playing BF3 on PC with 64 players. i played on PS3 last night with only 24 players. it was a total yawn and i actually played well

he has a few of these. i believe in his part 3, he did this wild stunt. he set up C4 on a heli and switched teams. his old team piled into it and took off. he detonated it from the other team and got all the kills
im taking a BO2 break for the rest of the week and just play BF3. i kinda miss the madness of the game. i dealt with a lot of retards last night on PC. for some reason, it was "stand out in the open like a dumbass" day and gave me free headshots! my best on PC is 395m and on PS3, it is 34m ()
anyone play the co-op missions? i did one with my brother and thought it was pretty fun. i spent $5 and bought the full co-op weapon unlock for PS3 an those guns are pretty good! i like them!

not sure if anyone knows about this but if you guys are trying to get unlocks or leveling up, play a lot of TDM. it turns into a spam fest at times but you unlock gear quick (assignment gear too!). i leveled up 2 ranks in a couple hours last night but then again i am only level 14 on PS3
in TDM, if you use assault with a med kit and shock paddles, you are golden! i racked up so many points just shock paddling teammates back to life and putting health down in the right spots. i managed to unlock my AUG doing this.

yeah rush and conquest are definitely fun. i really enjoy TDM because it gives me all the kills i need to get the assignments done. unlocking those weapons really helps!
Wife bought an xbox and BF3 for me, AND she said she will have it all hooked up before I get home in a couple of weeks. I love her. (We did get her the Kinect and some dancing games she wanted)
It looks like there are still players out there for this game. It has been a little while since I have played. I also plan on getting BF4 when it comes out at the end of the year (from what I have seen online of its release date).
