I would like to have another white z28.. I normally don't like the color white on vehicles, but my dad's old z28 was white..It was even a 95.... Except it had a fully built supercharged motor and an accomodating transmission and rear-end to handle the power.. Was too young to really know details. I just know that car would bury the factory 160mph speedo and keep on going. Was told it was putting out around 500 horsepower to the rear wheel. Dad got divorced and sold it to pay toward alimony.

I dunno.. Just one of those things that brings back memories so I'd like to have one myself.

I really liked the way that car ran and looked.

Dunno why you are obsessed with the completely stock look.. I hate the stock camaro wheels.. You will also probably mention the SS spoiler on the car as well again...

I am not obsessed with the totally stock look. I like the SS spoiler and hood. I just like the black roof and mirrors.

I had 12 inch wide tires on the back of my car, does that look stock? BTW I hate the salad shooters too, I think they are hideous. Cowl induction hoods look stupid on them cars, but they look good on the LS-1 cars, I think the nose is to sloped for a cowl induction hood on the early 4G cars.

The Firebird and WS6 wheels just look too plain to me. I think the nicest wheels on those cars are the SS wheels, they just look so right. The newer SS 10 spoke wheels are ok, but the 35th anniversary wheels are a lot nicer than those.

No matter what though, the 4G cars will never look as good as the 3G cars.

Get the 98+ SS spoiler, the 97 spoiler didnt have the center supports. It actually would cause the wing to buckle at higher speeds. I think it looks a little better than the 97 ones too.

i think that the z28 spoiler on there now doesn't have the center support either. So i'd be drilling into the hatch. Definitely want the ss spoiler though.

Correct, the Z28 spoiler has no supports, it doesnt need them They produce very little downforce, the SS spoiler does. In 97 they realized the SS spoiler needed supports, so they added them in 98 with the LS1 cars.

Torsen, which is the one they put in the SS cars.

Mine had the Eaton, which actually held up great. I broke everything else in there but the posi.

My Moser 12 bolt had the good Eaton one in it though.
