Be very careful of any product that tricks the computer into making changes, like MAF translators or TPS trickers.
Its a 93. He asked his buddy what mods it had and here's what he sent me.
lt4 hot cam, titanium valve springs, long tube headers (don't know the brand), k&n intake with metal elbow, and a flowmaster.

Never heard of a metal elbow?

Oh and now it'll have an f1racing stage 2 clutch. Found it new locally pretty cheap.

LT4 hot cam is a decent mid level cam, IIRC it had a really good idle. I have/had one somewhere, I was gonna put it in my car.

There is not such thing as titanium valve springs, maybe new springs with titanium retainers? You could find out by sticking a magnet through the oil fill hole to see if they are titanium.

Not very many long tubes made for them cars with that motor, should be easy to figure out. Does it have V-band clamps at the end of the headers? If so they are FLP headers.

The metal elbow is the elbow right before the throttle body. The factory one had a tube that hung down along the radiator. They were often replaced with aluminum ones. I had one on my car, but only because I had it drilled for nitrous nozzles.

Pic off web:

Get rid of that flowmaster.

I put a flowmaster on my car and lost 2/10ths and 3 mph over my stock muffler. Sounded OK, but the Corsa I bought sounded better, You can hear it in the burnout video I posted earlier. Corsa is just as, if not more, expensive as Borla. But worth IMHO.

93 didnt have a mass air flow sensor, it was speed density. I dont really know too much about how that particular setup worked.

I know some people liked it better, I want to say for "backyard tuning" reasons, but I am not 100% sure.

I liked MAF systems better because of accuracy.

93 was the only year that didnt have a MAF.

Re: Boredz V49 - Canucks optional :P

Thanks rich. This guy knows shit about cars so he's asking the guy that sold it to him and i'm sure he's fucking up some of it as he texts the info to me I'm just excited to finally be back in a camaro. I am buying it today and swapping the clutch at his house tomorrow assuming that it doesnt rain then driving it home.

I dont like flowmaster either. Way too damn loud. I want something a bit quiet at idle. Odds are that it doesn't have cats either.
