Re: Your favorite inexpensive mod for your bike?
Spend money on full leather gear, boots and quality gloves if you haven't already. Fuck jeans and work boots. Other than that, frame sliders, brake up grades (Lines, pads, rotors, MC etc) and lastly tools and equipment to perform your own maintenance. After buying your leathers, spend the left over money on track days. IMO all the other bolt on accessories that are marketed to make your bike faster but really don't (or that you'll never notice the gains on the street) are a waste of money.

+1 for everything above.
Sub$100
But my undertail has been my fav mod so far. Losing the back bumper on the bike makes it look so much nicer.
HID's were also nice made riding at night a little better.

For street: frame sliders, it's not necessarily the sexist mod, but they'll keep your bike sexy.
Track/race: brakes and bodywork.
The cheapest, best thing that I've done so far is to change my throttle tube for an r6 one.

GP shift. That combined with a quick shifter is awesome.

Do you have good quality gear?
Probably the best bang-for-the-buck performance mod is a -1 front sprocket.
If nothing else, just go here, pick your bike on the menu and start looking....

It makes your throttle shorter. You turn it less distance and get WOT.

yup. you will probably have to slack the throttle adjuster to get it to fit, and if the one by the throttle tube won't give enough play, the one on the throttle body may give you trouble. do a thread search.

I would have to agree, for as cheap as it is, the throttle tube was a noticable improvement. It felt like that's how it should have come from the factory. I had done the R1 tube.
Blitz, very easy install. There's several how to threads on it in here.

Best cheap mod?
Leaving the rear seat on all the time so when a chick asks for a ride, you're prepared. Lol.

And you do the gentlemanly thing each time, which is carry a spare helmet that fits each lady properly, right?

Favorite mod so far-galfer lines. one finger stopping kicks ass
Favorite cheap mod-seat cover. Local upholstery shop has sample squares for $1, and they are just big enough to do a motorcycle seat. I change seats every few months for a new look, and not a lot of ppl have custom seats, so it stands out
