Re: Got my new track weapon. Old school Power!

Build is looking TiTs!!

I had a problem getting my one piece lowers on my 1100. I ended up putting them on first then adjusting everything else to match them.
Are they one or two piece lowers?
Keep trying. I wanna see this bike all together.

What happened to the wheels and can the rear be repaired? I think they look way better than any 2nd gen wheels. What are they?

Nope... OSF was using a classic set of Dymags.

Well for me, I had to go with the quick fix. I had set extra fresh powder coated white wheels. With tires. So on it went. I dont want to have to take the tire off and get it repaired then painted again and tire mounted. The sprocket carrier will have to get a new sprocket as it wobbles on the carrier. I will swap out old front end for inverts and hayabusa 6 piston calipers. I have a black fender to go on the bike. Now its looking like the vance haines race bike. Motor turned out not to be big built motor as seller told me. I know how built motor feels. I do know a port job took place but all the other stuff is not there. Plenty of power the motor only has 5k miles on it and shifts flawlessly.

Re: Got my new track weapon. Old school Power!

So here it is, track ready for battle. Gonna try to make to Dec 3 Chuckawalla ride with MMarsh. Yes those Dymag got some damage to the back wheel so off they went. I can fix them but have to strip off the powder coat and weld repair so off to the auction block they go. I need other things for my other build anyways. I dont have time to do more repairs and who knows if the welds will hold? So I threw on the 1100 forks set up by Race Tech good seals. Yoshimura tirple clamp. Graves clip ons. I personally think the bike looks better now than with the 18 black wheels. I have wider tires and better selection. The brakes are awesome. The seals where busted on the black forks anyways which would of been more time and money. I was unable to get the lowers on there but will fiddle with them later to see why they are not fitting. I have oem mids and lowers. The upper is from the DUDE as you can see in the picture the mids sit on the frame a little high. I un did the middle screw and pull it down some and still not enough clearance for the yosh headers. really wanted to see full fairing bike. I rode it up the street pulls real solid. Only 5k miles on the motor so it shifts tight. It has a port job but doubt the engine is 1255 built motor. Still plenty fast. Yosh pipe sounds great. Lots off back firing from the 38 mm smooth bores. Cant wait to take it out and whomp on it. Im going up 47 tooth in back.

Looks great... Too bad about the Dymags but the 17's look great anyway.

What windshield is that? It doesn't look like a Zero Gravity... Is that one of the Chinese ones?
