Judging by your reviews, I was definitely right not to waste my money on another Treyarch piece of shit.
If another modern warfare comes out, I'll be all over it. The story line makes the game, and modern warfare has that down. Feels like you're watching a movie while playing it.
I'm not gonna say I hate it but I'm def not blown away by it. Couple different things that bother me with multiplayer are the same ones that made me stop playing MW3.... Why do I have to upgrade my weapons with xp points ?? Why are people spawning right in front of me ? Why are there two rounds in domination? Why couldn't they just really update blacks ops instead of making MW4?? Still giving it a chance though....

when i conform with the crowd and buy BLOPS2 tomorow, i expect the guy at gamestop to ask me if i wanna pre-order that ^ (yes i know...shameless self bump of failed joke... )
multiplayer is the worst part....servers are TERRIBLE...not on match that didnt lag orr host migrate.
i dont think black ops 2 is server based. you are playing while others are hosting like all other COD games. the whole experience was probably overwhelming due to the launch of the game. you have to give it some time to settle down. MW3 had issues on launch day too. just a huge overload of players at one time.

MW3 and BO2 are 2 different companies that made the game. i feel treyarch makes a better COD than IW. the whole upgrading with points/currency came from the original black ops and people liked that about the game instead of unlocking things at different weapon levels. i know i prefered black ops over mw3 and im looking forward to going back to treyarch!

Your opinion is totally wrong, lol. I didnt really like the currency system. I Put BO back in today for about 2 minutes, the game play is HORRIBLE. I will definitely be trying this before I go out and buy it.
I will however, be pre-ordering Grand Theft Auto 5.

i dont understand how an opinion is wrong?
the game play of treyarch's version is different from IW's version. i can strafe shoot 10 times better in BO's than i can in IW. different game engines and just a slightly different style of play. i actually liked using currency to unlock stuff and i also liked the wager matches too.

I didnt like Black Ops from the beginning. I guess I am just an IW guy.
No one here has mentioned it being completely unstable on their PS3
My buddy got it and he was able to play a few minutes before his PS3 froze and went black. It then took a half-hour to do some rebuild and he tried it again. Same result.
Now it freezes loading the initial menus.. over and over again.
LOTS of google hits on it freezing-up on both PC and PS3
I was looking forward to checking it out but nope...
