Getting a vehicle on the road in the uk seems to be quite an ordeal. My bike insurance is 14 dollars a month in ny.
14x12= cheap low low insurance is that fully comprenhisive,3rd party fire & theft or just 3rd party? In my money it's like £80 a year & that's a gift. The only peps I know paying thoes type of premiums are all over 50. Granted my car insurance is on a level par with your bike quote but I've got full no claims bonus & +20 years with out a bash.
$27 a month liability through progressive here in Va, but i also destroyed my driving record years ago and have no choice but to suffer through it lol. But insurance in the UK just sounds like way to much hassle. i know alot of companies here WILL NOT insure you on a sport bike without holding a M class license for a minimum of 2 years and you can`t even get a motorcycle license before the age of 21.
Hills are green far away Armi. I think everything is what you make of it here. Remember the story about £50 & a suite case full of dirty clothes!!!!
Christy Moore brings it all home when he said.
You never will go home now
Because of the shame of a
Misfits reflection in the shop window pane.
I can't insure my bike, because I can't register it. I can't register it, because I don't have a moto endorsement yet (dirt biker). I can't get a moto endorsement because I'm in <drumroll> Afghanistan!
I haven't even laid eyes on my bike; I don't know which is worse, to have loved and been told to wait, or to never have loved at all...
EDIT: Point of this was to make OP feel a little better about his situation. Venting frustration was a perk.
