I found a 2000 f250 that is being parted. I can avoid a lot of bodywork this way!!!! then just have the guy paint it. I'm going to take a drive once i hear back from my Insurance.
I also found a few salvage yards that specialize in f250's. I'm willing to take a day off of work and tracking down all sorts of shit and just have the guy install and paint. Then just have him fix the cabin.
I think this route would leave more money for mods.
Unless he saw that he is slow molasses and adding some preload will be just fine.
But seriously, change the springs. I weigh a little less than you do and after riding my GSXR with heavier weight springs has me thinking about buying them for my street bike as well, and I ride that thing like a girl ( from ride like a girl comment)
Well I was throwing consistent A pace lap times at thill yesterday with my best being rite around 2:09. 2:15 and under are considered A pace.
I wanted to push harder but between the suspension and being on power pures I didnt have the confidence to push harder. The bike wasn't giving me the confidence I wanted at all but I was able to get consistent which is what is important. Found a couple solid lines on a couple corners I kept messing up and that helped shave my lap times tremendously
I was happy with the day I think it being cold helped me push it a little harder on the pures but really need to step it up on tires next year. Still want to stay in B for a while and work on lines and bp

Could try to Pirelli Trackday slicks. They are pretty bad ass trackday tires that have enough silica they dont require warmers, but can be used with warmers if you want.

That's what I am planning on using our track day provider supply's Pirelli so they always are pushing them
