Well I'm getting a little bored waiting for my 85 bodywork to come back from paint and decided to start playing around with my 86 project. It so happens that I have a 2006 Truimph rear end and a 04 GSXR1000 front laying around my garage. Started to mock up the swing arm and found it to fit with only a little modification....the linkage on the other hand might be a problem. The Daytona linkage uses a piece of ready rod and I was thinking about cutting a larger piece and bending it. Not sure if it will ride like a giant piece of crap? Any suggestions for the linkage? I wanted to run a unique swingarm with a 5.5 rear wheel and was in the process of parting out the daytona so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm hoping to go back to the red and black oem colors, 04 K1 front and a B12 Engine.
