Re: What's your philosophy on life? What's most important?

My dad was a old southern hippie that shared alot of ideas with Alex Grey

With that said here a brief break down of what i always heard growing up...

We are all energy and knowledge forever recycling through the ever expanding grid of life "the universe". Something definitely happened to bring us here, who and or what isn`t quite as important as why?

While you are here:
-try to enjoy yourself
-try your best to do whats right
-know that no matter who you are or where you`re from we all bleed red
-and so long as you arent doing harm unto others than fuck it... do what makes you happy.

I've found that the meaning of life is to stay busy until we die.

Family is #1.
I try and give my family the best of everthing & make every minute I have them better than the last. I also let the small things go as I've realized there are many others out there who don't have as much as we do. I'm raising my kids to hopefully see that that as well.
As a person who has survived an brain aneurysm and is now living with leukemia, it's really re-inforced the idea that you have to enjoy every minute you have with the poeple you love.

You have no control over when the clock runs out...

I try to live a happy life and I've been successful. I lost an older sister when I was 12 to cancer and its made me wiser at decisions I make. Here are my golden rules.....

1)live happy
2)stay positive
3)respect ALL life/ALL life is valuable
4)stay away from negativity
5)dont be afraid of the unknown
6)it's greater to love than to be loved
7)we can't control the events in our lives but we sure can manipulate them

Keep a positive mentality fellas . It will do more for you than you think. Live happy dont worry

Re: What's your philosophy on life? What's most important?

I asked my mom what the meaning of life was when I was like 12. She laughed and shrugged. "The one with the most toys at the end wins." Now every time I get a new bike I tell her "I owe it to you mom". And she gets all pissed.

From my late hillbilly, redneck grandfather who I loved dearly:

"Don't spend more than you take in."

Can't get any more succinct, even without understanding the word, "succinct."
