Drag pipe ... yes. Touching the ground in the curves ? ... most definitely yes - it would.

Pipe has never hit the ground. I also don't ride like you guys on twisty roads.
Thanks Crispone.
Steve you kill me some times. I am picking up a Vance and Hines super street exhaust tomorrow. Hopefully it will fit. I think I just might leave the drag pipe on to piss people off!

Just goofing with you Scott.
I agree with you keeping that pipe on the bike. It's all business... and I'll admit that it is kinda growing on me... I like it.

Re: Oil Cooled Picture Thread
You are correct Oz
I was missing one when I got the bike.
I have since picked one up and when I take the bike apart this winter I will install the new one. Hopefully the exhaust I pick up tonight will fit.
Then I can put my lowers back on. Every header I have hits the frame due to the 91 motor. The sidewinder is the only header that fits somewhat. Still hits a little but works.

Hey, I was reading the September, 2012 issue of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics and recognized blue88gixxer's bike in the reader's bikes section:
Someday I'll send in some pics of mine when I'm finished.

Haha...yep that was my 80 gs750! I sent the pics and letters to the magazine back in Feb and they put them in Sept issue. Pretty cool.
