I never really got to try it out, but I did test fit it and it was gonna be to big, couldn't mount it facing backwards and facing forwards I would have had to move my water
To be honest I don't know if that would work, it looks like it would be too big and like before mentions the outlets have to be very close to factory height or you have flow issues. Why can't they just make a really small version of that with maybe a 90° to npt threads with a single or dual barb that would be perfect and at less than $30 that would be awesome. How would you release the gas? Just have it hooked to ignitions or what
Havent actually looked to hard at it, probably just as easy to order the pingel or just rebuild oem, I had thought about them the other day just hadnt looked it up. I think I would put it on the fan switch, I live in Florida so cold temps are not an issue. Its just a thought.............
How about a pingel mount with an elbow and run it back to the center of the bike, the one I suggested is only 1 1/2 wide so you would need to come down 3/4 min.. That would clean up that petcock area.
Like your thinking, but I would be afraid of it failing you would have no warning, I think I would rather stick to a manual shut off valve instead of trying to rely on electronics.
I actually found the pingel on Amazon for 84 and adapter plate was only like $20ish if only I had the money laying around I would have ordered it and just been done
No.... You should make one out of bubblegum, bamboo, and pixie dust. That's how I choose to transport highly combustible liquid, in a area right between my legs...... Yep, you should do it, because homemade petcocks are really taking off.....
