Re: Boredz V49 - Canucks optional :P
I saw Alice & Wonderland, The Avengers & the newest Resident Evil in 3D and I will say that it looks great, almost just amazingly clear, but none of them really WOW'ED me, if that makes sense. I would love to see a movie that was solely shot for 3D. There has to be a difference.

Re: Boredz V49 - Canucks optional :P
out of those three only resident evil was partly shot in 3d so some of the 3d scenes in that movie were actually shot with a 3d camera.
Both the avengers and alice in wonderland were done post production

My sister is legally blind in one of her eyes, and when I asked her about Avatar looked in 3D she said "Blah, not that good"

Not if you go to the movie at a place that sells beer.

Re: Boredz V49 - Canucks optional :P
Damnit I noticed a tight spot in my chain just now while prepping for tomorrow. The chain has perfect tension in 3 different spots then in one spot it's just a little tighter.
Guess its time for a 520 conversion with -1 +2
What is normal for a chains life? I clean and wax mine at least twice a month if not more I have 18k on the bike. Also you think it's safe to ride tomorrow?

18k is at the upper end, so yeah, it is not shocking it is done.
Safe probably, but I cant see it. Lube it WELL to be sure. Keep an eye on it. Touch it after you come off to see if it is hot at all.

Re: Boredz V49 - Canucks optional :P
Yea I lubed the crap out of it and put it on the looser side I plan on checking it every time I come off tomorrow. I wasn't too surprised the last two times I have cleaned it I have noticed it getting looser as if it was stretching.
Also kind of figured I would toast it by throwing the -1 sprocket on the front. Being it is brand new.
But I have been wanting the 520 conversion -1 +2 for awhile now so not too much of a biggie.

No I know it didn't
. But I knew it would result in the chain going and then I could justify spending more money on my bike lol

Re: Boredz V49 - Canucks optional :P
I was thinking the same thing. Wait for my chain or sprockets to wear and then do a -1/+2 but I don't know if I can wait.
